These diecut notebooks are inspired by the Mashrabiya, the latticework feature traditional to Islamic architecture. The pattern itself, the hanbaliya, derives from Sadu, the Bedouin weaving of the desert. When hit by the light, the pattern forms a play of light and shadows, gracefully blanketing the surface. The notebook is made from FSC certified paper, and artisanal gilt-edges. Its compact size and square format (16cm x 16cm) make it the perfect writing companion.
